This is the week-of-October-26 edition of the Treasure Valley events roundup, refreshed as of October 19, 2026. Treat it as a snapshot, not a promise: Halloween schedules get announced late and shift every year, some events sell out or wrap early, and every detail below should be confirmed with the organizer or venue before you drive. Halloween itself falls on a Saturday this year, which turns the whole week into a rolling series of trunk-or-treats from Nampa to Jerome.
The short version: Nampa's downtown trick-or-treat fills First Street South on Thursday, October 29, Caldwell hosts its citywide Trick-or-Treat at the City the same afternoon, Mountain Home's Spooktacular and Jerome's Main Street trunk-or-treat run Friday, October 30, and Halloween Saturday brings Star's Riverhouse event, Middleton's official trick-or-treat hours, and trunk-or-treats in Nampa and Jerome. The weekend also carries Skillet at Revolution Concert House, Rival Sons at Knitting Factory Boise, and Kai Wachi at Treefort Music Hall.
Already wrapped: events that have passed
Everything featured in the week-of-October-19 roundup has now run, so it is archived here rather than relisted as upcoming. CBH opened Wagers Acres in Caldwell on Thursday, October 15, Viva Nampa filled Lloyd Square Park on Friday, October 16, the Mountain Home Highland Games ran October 17 and 18, On the Block toured Linrock in Meridian on Saturday, October 17, and Meridian's Main Street Market held its final Saturday of the season on October 17.
The full record, including each event's details and the ones that wrapped earlier in the season, lives in the week-of-October-19 roundup. If you were aiming at this coming weekend, it is still ahead of you: Boo at the Zoo at Zoo Boise, Eagle's Night of a Thousand Pumpkins, Meridian's trunk-or-treat at City Hall Plaza, and Kuna's Fall Festival and trunk-or-treat are all detailed there.
Farmers markets: final October Saturdays and the indoor turn
Boise's two Saturday markets are still going, and October 31 is the final outdoor Saturday for one of them. The Capital City Public Market at The Grove Plaza runs Saturdays through December 19, and the Boise Farmers Market at 1500 Shoreline Drive holds its last outdoor market on Saturday, October 31 before moving indoors to a heated tent at the Idaho Botanical Garden starting November 7.
The Nampa Farmers Market at Lloyd Square Park runs its season through the last Saturday of October, making October 31 its likely finale and the last outdoor market in the valley's new-home cities. Meridian's Main Street Market already wrapped on October 17, and Kuna's summer market closed in late September. Hours and final dates move every season, so confirm before you drive.
Halloween week, day by day: October 26 through 31
Tuesday, October 27 kicks things off in Caldwell, where Core Medicine of Idaho and Rocky Mountain Foot & Ankle host their fourth annual trunk-or-treat from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at 4605 Enterprise Way, free and family-friendly. Thursday, October 29 is the busiest evening of the week: Nampa's 39th annual downtown Trick-or-Treat runs 4 to 7 PM along First Street South with thousands of costumed kids visiting local businesses, Caldwell's citywide Trick-or-Treat at the City passes out candy at City Hall, the Public Library, the Fire Station, Parks and Rec, and more from 2:30 to 4:30 PM, and the Cloverdale Funeral Home hosts a free community trunk-or-treat in Boise at 6 PM.
Friday, October 30 fills the smaller towns. Mountain Home's Spooktacular, its Day of the Dead-themed family night of costumes, candy, and contests, starts at 6 PM at the Hub Plaza downtown, and Jerome's Main Street trunk-or-treat runs 4:30 to 7:30 PM. The Canyon County Sheriff's Office hosts a trunk-or-treat at Justice Park in Caldwell from 2 to 4 PM, Trucks 'N Treat rolls into Nampa at 6 PM, and Downtown Middleton's Spooky Stroll, the daytime trick-or-treat at 30-plus businesses with a costume parade at Stone Horse Green, is expected that day as well, so confirm the date on the Middleton calendar.
Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31 this year. Star's trunk-or-treat returns to Riverhouse Pasture on South Main Street, Middleton's official trick-or-treat hours run 5 to 8 PM, and church-run trunk-or-treats in Nampa (2 PM) and Jerome (5 PM) round out the day. In Boise, Harrison Boulevard in the North End closes to traffic on Halloween night for one of the valley's biggest street trick-or-treat scenes, and for adults there is the Boise Halloween Bar Crawl in the Capitol District starting at 4 PM and the Shrine Social Club's Halloween party at 5 PM.
Two long-running harvest stops are still open through the month's end: Lowe Family Farmstead's pumpkin patch and corn maze near Kuna runs through October 31, the Idaho Botanical Garden's Scarecrow Stroll continues through November 2, and Roaring Springs' Spooky Light Show drive-through runs nightly through October 30. New Plymouth and Horseshoe Bend had no published Halloween events as of this roundup's research date; both towns typically announce trunk-or-treats only a few weeks ahead, so check the city and chamber calendars as the date nears.
Concerts and shows: October 26 through 31
Morrison Center in Boise has the Boise State Symphony Orchestra's Halloween Spook-Tacular on Wednesday, October 28. At Knitting Factory Boise, Nahko and Medicine for the People play Wednesday, October 28, Rival Sons bring the Domestic Bliss Tour on Friday, October 30, and Plini closes the month on Saturday, October 31.
Revolution Concert House in Garden City carries most of the week's rock: Skillet plays Monday, October 26 at 7 PM, the All Hallows Eve Party with 2-Day Rental takes Friday, October 30, and Pouya plays Saturday, October 31. Treefort Music Hall hosts George Clanton on Tuesday, October 27 and Kai Wachi on Halloween. The Ford Idaho Center has no concert in this window; its big draw is the Idaho Reined Cow Horse Association fall futurity at the Ford Idaho Horse Park from October 29 through November 8, with Jo Koy and Three Days Grace following in November.
What CBH has going on, and who is on your side
CBH's On the Block open-house program continues every Saturday from 1 to 4 PM with free food trucks and tours of furnished models at two rotating communities; the October 24 lineup pairs Arrowrock Farms in Caldwell with Linrock in Meridian, and the next weekly posting appears at cbhhomes.com/on-the-block/. CBH HomeFest, the builder's holiday model-home event billed as Idaho's biggest homebuying event of the year, runs November 6 through December 12, and the October Life Upgrade offer (a 4.25% year-one rate with a free Whirlpool appliance package) applies to contracts dated between October 1 and 31.
None of that changes who is on your side. The builder's sales team runs those events, and they work for the builder. I am an independent buyer's agent and a Principal Broker (Oregon) / Associate Broker (Idaho) at MORE Realty; I represent buyers at every CBH community, and in most cases the builder pays my commission. I am not employed by or affiliated with CBH Homes. If you are coming out for an event, call me at (208) 369-7447 before your first model visit so you are registered as a represented buyer, and I will help you plan the weekend around tours of the communities on your list.
