- Can I really use an agent on a new build?
- Yes. With most builders, including CBH, buyers can have their own representation, and in many cases the builder pays the buyer's agent commission. The key is registering your agent before your first visit.
- Does it cost me extra?
- Usually the builder pays the buyer's agent commission. Confirm the exact terms with me on your first call, because terms differ by community and by builder.
- Can you negotiate on a new-construction home?
- Yes, more than buyers expect: incentives, closing cost, upgrades, lot premiums, and timing. The builder's price list is a starting point, and I help shape the full package.
- Do you work for CBH?
- No, and that's the whole point. I'm an independent agent who does not work for CBH or any builder. I represent buyers, and only buyers.
