The week-of-November-9 picture, current as of October 26

This is the week-of-November-9 edition of the Treasure Valley events roundup, refreshed as of October 26, 2026. Treat it as a snapshot, not a promise: Veterans Day week schedules get announced late and shift every year, some events sell out or wrap early, and every detail below should be confirmed with the organizer or venue before you drive. Anything that already wrapped in October or the opening days of November is noted as past rather than listed as upcoming.

The short version: Veterans Day lands on Wednesday, November 11, with Eagle High School's annual celebration that night and Mission43's Ruck the Rock hike at Table Rock. Saturday, November 14 is the week's anchor: the Idaho Veterans Parade steps off downtown in the morning, Boise State hosts Oregon State at Albertsons Stadium in the afternoon, and Three Days Grace plays the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa that night. CBH HomeFest enters its second week with model tours Friday afternoon and Saturday, and the Boise Farmers Market's new winter market at the Idaho Botanical Garden is already running on its regular Saturday schedule.

Archived: HomeFest week one and the events that already ran

The week-of-November-2 roundup, current as of October 21, is the record for what just happened, and it stays live for that week's own events. CBH HomeFest opened Friday, November 6 at Southridge in Meridian, and Nampa's Holiday Makers Market at the Civic Center and Star's Chamber Holiday Bazaar both filled Saturday, November 7. Jo Koy's Koy Meets World tour played the Ford Idaho Center on November 7, and the Warhawk Air Museum's 23rd annual Veterans Breakfast gathered in Nampa that same morning.

Also off the calendar by now: Dia de los Muertos at JUMP on Monday, November 2, the Black Jacket Symphony's Bon Jovi tribute at the Nampa Civic Center the same night, and the Idaho Steelheads' three-game home stand against Rapid City, which closed Saturday, November 7. The Boise Farmers Market wrapped its outdoor season at Shoreline Drive on October 31, and Meridian's Main Street Market has been closed since October 17; neither returns until next year.

Farmers markets settle into their winter schedule

The Boise Farmers Market opened its first-ever winter market on Saturday, November 7 at the Idaho Botanical Garden, its new permanent home, and runs Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM through December 19 in a heated market space with 40 to 60 vendors. The Capital City Public Market keeps its Saturday run at The Grove Plaza downtown from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM through December 19.

The Nampa Farmers Market at Lloyd Square Park in historic downtown Nampa continues its 37th season on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1:30 PM through November. Meridian's Main Street Market and Eagle's Saturday Market have both closed for the year, and Caldwell's Farm to Fork market wrapped back in September. Market dates and hours move every season, so confirm with each organizer before you plan a trip.

Veterans Day, Wednesday November 11

Veterans Day is an Idaho state holiday, and the Treasure Valley marks it in a few ways. Eagle High School holds its 20th Annual Veterans Day Celebration at 7 PM on Wednesday, a free community event honoring veterans and active-duty service members. That same evening, Mission43 hosts Ruck the Rock, a 5:30 to 7:30 PM ruck-style hike at the Table Rock Trailhead in Boise. In Mountain Home, VFW Post 5423 holds its regular meeting from 7 to 8 PM at the post on the Mountain Home Air Force Base side of town.

Cities and chambers across the valley tend to announce their own Veterans Day observances closer to the date, so check the city calendar nearest you if the holiday matters to your plans. Beyond what is linked below, none of this week's observances were fully confirmed as of the research date, so confirm before you go.

Saturday, November 14: parade, Bronco football, and a big night in Nampa

The Idaho Veterans Parade marches through downtown Boise on Saturday morning from 10 AM to noon, a free community event that steps off in front of the Idaho State Capitol and loops around the Capitol area. This year's theme is United in Service 1776-2026, Celebrating 250 Years of Service and Sacrifice, and the parade marks the America 250 year. Eagle's Veterans Day Breakfast runs the same morning from 8 to 10 AM at the Eagle Senior Center, free and open to the public.

Then the anchor of the week: Boise State hosts Pac-12 foe Oregon State at Albertsons Stadium on Saturday at 4 PM. If a game-day crowd is not your plan, the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa has Three Days Grace's Alienation Tour with I Prevail and The Funeral Portrait at 7 PM. The Idaho Steelheads are on the road this week, playing at Wichita on Friday, with their next Boise home stand November 18 through 21 against the Maine Mariners.

Concerts and shows, Monday through Sunday

Boise's venues carry a full week. Knitting Factory Boise has ROTIMI & SHAFFY on Friday, November 13, Olivia O'Brien on Saturday, and Maddie Zahm on Sunday. Treefort Music Hall brings Houndmouth with Dogpark on Tuesday, Railroad Earth with Jeremy Garrett of the Infamous Stringdusters on Thursday, Eivør with midori jaeger on Friday, and Game Changer Wrestling on Sunday night.

Revolution Concert House in Garden City has Dwight Yoakam on Thursday, November 12, Petty Theft, the Tom Petty tribute, on Friday, and NOT.GREENDAY on Saturday. The Morrison Center at Boise State hosts the university music department's Annual Holiday Concert at 6:30 PM on Thursday, and the Nampa Civic Center pairs Dynamic Duos of the 60s with The Buddy Holly Experience on Saturday from 7 to 9 PM. Venue calendars refresh week to week and shows sell out, so confirm dates and times on the venues' own pages before you buy.

CBH HomeFest: week two, and the model-home calendar

CBH HomeFest runs Fridays and Saturdays from November 6 through December 12, and week two falls inside this window: Friday, November 13 from 4 to 7 PM and Saturday, November 14 from 1 to 4 PM. The builder has 15 fully furnished, holiday-decorated model homes across four communities: Topaz Ranch West in Caldwell, Southridge and Centerville in Meridian, and Jack's Place in Nampa, with free food trucks on Saturdays from 1 to 3 PM. The weekly On the Block open house series runs inside the HomeFest Saturdays at those four communities during the event window.

HomeFest is billed as Idaho's biggest homebuying event of the year, and model homes stay open later than usual on those weekends. If you plan to tour any model on a HomeFest weekend, register as a represented buyer before your first visit so your side of the transaction is protected. The builder's own page is the final word on which community hosts which week, since the rotation is published as the event goes.

Small towns and the month ahead

The smaller-town calendars are quiet for this exact window as of the research date. Jerome's Main Street trunk-or-treat returns Thursday, November 19, Caldwell's Winter Wonderland Festival opens Friday, November 20, and Kuna's Down Home Country Christmas craft fair and Night Light Parade run December 4 and 5. The Idaho Botanical Garden's Winter Garden aGlow opens Saturday, November 28 and runs Wednesdays through Sundays until New Year's Eve.

New Plymouth and Horseshoe Bend had no verified events for this window as of October 26, and their city and chamber pages are the places to watch as holiday bazaars, craft fairs, and community dinners get announced in the coming weeks. Treat the early-November calendar as the beginning of the holiday season and confirm everything as the dates firm up.

Who is on your side

Between HomeFest weekend tours and a packed Saturday, there is a reason to head out nearly every weekend between now and mid-December. The builder's sales team runs those events, and they work for the builder. I am an independent buyer's agent and a Principal Broker (Oregon) / Associate Broker (Idaho) at MORE Realty; I represent buyers at every CBH community, and in most cases the builder pays my commission. I am not employed by or affiliated with CBH Homes.

If you are coming out for an event, call me at (208) 369-7447 before your first model visit so you are registered as a represented buyer, and I will help you line up tours of the communities on your list.
