The week-of-November-2 picture, current as of October 21

This is the week-of-November-2 edition of the Treasure Valley events roundup, refreshed as of October 21, 2026. Treat it as a snapshot, not a promise: November schedules get announced late and shift every year, some events sell out or wrap early, and every detail below should be confirmed with the organizer or venue before you drive. Anything that already wrapped in October is noted as past rather than listed as upcoming.

The short version: Dia de los Muertos fills JUMP in Boise on Monday night, November 2, the Idaho Steelheads open a three-game home stand midweek, First Thursday takes over downtown on November 5, and CBH HomeFest, the builder's holiday model-home event, kicks off Friday, November 6 with 15 furnished, holiday-decorated homes across four Treasure Valley communities. The Boise Philharmonic plays Holst's The Planets at the Morrison Center on Saturday and Sunday, and the first full weekend of November carries concerts at Knitting Factory Boise, Revolution Concert House, and Treefort Music Hall.

Archived: Halloween wraps up, and the October roundups hold the record

Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31 this year, and every event in the week-of-October-26 roundup runs between now and then: Nampa's downtown trick-or-treat on Thursday, Caldwell's Trick-or-Treat at the City, Mountain Home's Spooktacular and Jerome's Main Street trunk-or-treat on Friday, and Star's Riverhouse event and Middleton's trick-or-treat hours on Saturday. That roundup, current as of October 19, is the one to plan Halloween from, and it stays live through the 31st.

Already off the calendar: Boo at the Zoo, Eagle's Night of a Thousand Pumpkins, Meridian's trunk-or-treat at City Hall Plaza, and Kuna's Fall Festival, all covered in the week-of-October-19 roundup, have fully run, and the full record of the season lives there and in the October roundups before it.

Farmers markets: the last outdoor Saturdays and the indoor turn

The Boise Farmers Market at 1500 Shoreline Drive holds its final outdoor Saturday on October 31, then moves indoors for its winter market in November; the market and the Idaho Botanical Garden post the current venue and dates, so confirm before you drive. The Capital City Public Market at The Grove Plaza keeps its Saturday run going through December 19.

The Nampa Farmers Market at Lloyd Square Park continues on Saturdays in November after its outdoor season ends, with hours that shift from the summer schedule; the market posts the current hours and location on its page. Meridian's Main Street Market and Kuna's summer market have both wrapped for the year.

Monday through Thursday: Dia de los Muertos, Steelheads, and First Thursday

Dia de los Muertos at JUMP (1000 W Myrtle Street) runs Monday, November 2 from 5 to 8 PM, a free community celebration with ofrendas and altars, live performances and music, pan de muerto and hot chocolate, and a Catrin and Catrina costume contest. It is a family-friendly way to close out the holiday weekend.

The Idaho Steelheads host the Rapid City Rush at Idaho Central Arena on Wednesday, November 4, Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, all with a 7:10 PM puck drop. If you were hoping for a Bronco home game, Boise State football plays Colorado State on the road that Saturday, so the Steelheads are the home-team ticket in town that weekend.

First Thursday in downtown Boise runs 5 to 9 PM on November 5, with the Boise Art Museum open 10 AM to 7 PM on pay-what-you-can admission and gallery openings across the district, including the opening reception for Rene Romero Schuler's Standing Tall at the Idaho Art Gallery (702 W Idaho Street), on view November 3 through 28. It is a free, low-key evening that pairs well with dinner downtown before HomeFest weekend.

Friday and Saturday, November 6-7: CBH HomeFest opens

CBH announced HomeFest, the reimagined holiday model-home event, on October 13: it runs Fridays and Saturdays from November 6 through December 12 with 15 fully furnished, holiday-decorated model homes across four Treasure Valley communities, plus free holiday photos, live entertainment, local food trucks, and giveaways. The builder has confirmed Southridge in Meridian (2098 S Summerson Way) among the participants, with the rest of the lineup posted at cbhhomes.com/homefest/.

The On the Block open house series also continues every Saturday from 1 to 4 PM at two rotating communities with free food trucks and furnished models; CBH posts each week's locations on its On the Block page. HomeFest is billed by the builder as Idaho's biggest homebuying event of the year, and it lands on weekends when model homes are open later than usual. If you plan to tour any model on a HomeFest weekend, register as a represented buyer before your first visit so your side of the transaction is protected.

Concerts and shows: the first weekend of November

Knitting Factory Boise opens the month with Katie Pruitt on Wednesday, November 4, Isaiah Rashad on Thursday, November 5, JSTJR on Friday, November 6, and Daily Bread on Sunday, November 8. Revolution Concert House in Garden City has Beck on Friday, November 6 and Louie TheSinger on Saturday, November 7. Treefort Music Hall carries Buzzcocks with Grade 2 on Tuesday, November 3, The Tallest Man on Earth on Wednesday, November 4, The Aces on Thursday, November 5, Eilen Jewell on Friday, November 6, and L7 on Sunday, November 8.

At the Morrison Center, the live comedy podcast Killers of Kill Tony plays Friday, November 6 at 7 PM, and the Boise Philharmonic performs Holst's The Planets on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8. The Ford Idaho Center in Nampa has Jo Koy's Koy Meets World comedy tour on Saturday, November 7, with Three Days Grace, I Prevail, and The Funeral Portrait following on November 14. Venue calendars refresh week to week and shows sell out, so confirm dates and times on the venues' own pages before you buy.

Small towns, Veterans Day, and the month ahead

As of this roundup's research date, the November calendars in Kuna, Star, Middleton, New Plymouth, Jerome, Mountain Home, and Horseshoe Bend are still filling in: city and chamber pages in the smaller towns typically post holiday bazaars, craft fairs, and community dinners a few weeks ahead, so check them as the month opens. Kuna is already set for its Down Home Country Christmas craft fair and Night Light Parade on December 4 and 5.

Looking a week past this window: the Idaho Veterans Parade marches through downtown Boise on Saturday, November 14 in its America 250 year, and Eagle hosts its Veterans Day breakfast at the Eagle Senior Center that same morning. The Idaho Botanical Garden's Winter Garden aGlow opens after Thanksgiving, when tickets go on sale. None of that is fixed from this vantage point; treat the early-November calendar as the beginning of the holiday season and confirm everything as the dates firm up.

What CBH has going on, and who is on your side

Between On the Block Saturdays and the HomeFest kickoff weekend, there is a reason to tour nearly every weekend between now and mid-December. The builder's sales team runs those events, and they work for the builder. I am an independent buyer's agent and a Principal Broker (Oregon) / Associate Broker (Idaho) at MORE Realty; I represent buyers at every CBH community, and in most cases the builder pays my commission. I am not employed by or affiliated with CBH Homes. If you are coming out for an event, call me at (208) 369-7447 before your first model visit so you are registered as a represented buyer, and I will help you line up tours of the communities on your list.
