Treasure Valley Community Events: October 2026 Roundup
Fall is when the Treasure Valley shows off: Saturday farmers markets still running downtown and in Meridian, Nampa, and Eagle, harvest festivals and pumpkin patches from Boise to Jerome, and CBH's Saturday open-house program. Here is the rundown, current as of September 30, 2026, so you can plan a weekend around a new-home tour.

Archived: this roundup was published September 30 and is kept for reference. The mid-October edition, current as of October 5, is the one to plan from; it is linked under Useful links below. This is a seasonal roundup of community events across the Treasure Valley, from Boise to Jerome, refreshed as of September 30, 2026. It is a snapshot, not a promise: farmers market seasons and festival dates shift every year, some events end early or sell out, and every detail below should be confirmed with the organizer or venue before you drive. I will refresh this list as the season moves, so check back before you head out.
The short version: the Saturday farmers markets are still going strong into October, Eagle and Jerome host big harvest celebrations on October 10, pumpkin patches across the valley open through Halloween, and CBH keeps its Saturday open-house program running while it announces new community grand openings.
Saturday farmers markets still open in October
Boise still runs its two Saturday markets: the Capital City Public Market at The Grove Plaza downtown, open Saturdays through December, and the food-focused Boise Farmers Market at 1500 Shoreline Drive, open Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM through October. Either one makes a good downtown morning before you drive out to a model.
Closer to the new communities, the Meridian Main Street Market runs Saturdays on Main Street at City Hall through October, and the Nampa Farmers Market at Lloyd Square Park in historic downtown Nampa holds on until October 25. Eagle's Saturday Market at Heritage Park wraps its season in early October, so catch its final Saturdays while they last.
Two seasonal favorites have already closed for the year: Caldwell's Farm to Fork Farmers Market, which ran Tuesday evenings through September, and the West Bench Farmers Market at Spaulding Ranch in Boise, which ran Thursday evenings through September. Both return next summer, and the Indian Creek Plaza farmers market in Caldwell follows its own season, so check current hours there too.
October festivals worth planning around
Saturday, October 10 is the busiest day of the month. Eagle hosts Harvest Fest at Heritage Park from 10 AM to 4 PM with free pumpkin decorating, kids' crafts from the library, blacksmith demos, food vendors, and live music, and in the Magic Valley, the Jerome Farmers Market holds its 15th annual Harvest Festival at Moss Greenhouses, a family costume parade and vendor market. If you are making a day of it, a model-home tour fits neatly into either town.
Later in the month, Eagle's Night of a Thousand Pumpkins on October 24 lights up the City Hall campus with more than a thousand carved pumpkins, trunk-or-treat, and a spooky City Hall. Downtown Meridian's Oktoberfest typically lands early in the month, Mountain Home keeps a fall calendar of its own with a downtown Fall Festival in October, live entertainment, and historical hayrides, and New Plymouth and Horseshoe Bend both throw small-town fall celebrations as harvest wraps.
Already wrapped this year: the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic flew over Labor Day weekend at Ann Morrison Park, and Boise's Old Boise Oktoberfest and Nampa's Oktoberfest both came and went in September. They will be back on next year's calendar, and I will keep this roundup pointed at what is actually next.
Concerts, shows, and venue calendars
The big confirmed date on the arena calendar is Jon Pardi at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on Saturday, October 10, with Alexandra Kay and Sadie Bass opening. Concert and theater dates across the valley land week by week, so check the Ford Idaho Center, the Morrison Center at Boise State, Revolution Concert House, and Knitting Factory Boise for what is new near the area you are shopping.
Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden wraps with summer, so that outdoor stage goes quiet until next May.
Pumpkin patches and farm events through the month
The valley's pumpkin patches open through Halloween. Meridian's Linder Farms runs its corn maze and pumpkin patch through October 31, Kuna's Lowe Family Farmstead brings 55-plus pumpkin varieties with a corn maze and hayrides, Nampa's Shindig Farms adds a haunted maze on Saturdays, and The Berry Ranch on Highway 20-26 between Caldwell and Nampa pairs a pumpkin patch with a corn maze through the end of the month. Jordan's Pumpkin Patch in southwest Boise stays free to enter.
Most of these sit minutes from a CBH community, which makes a farm afternoon and a model tour a natural same-day stop.
What CBH has going on, and who is on your side
CBH's On the Block open-house program runs Saturdays with food trucks, giveaways, and tours of furnished model homes, and the weekly lineup is posted on cbhhomes.com. Grand openings are the bigger draws: CBH celebrated openings earlier this year at Beaconwood in Eagle, The Hamptons in New Plymouth, and Clover Creek in Jerome, and each new launch gets the same treatment. The next one is announced on the builder's site and in its email list.
None of that changes who is on your side. The builder's sales team runs the events, and they work for the builder. I am an independent buyer's agent and a Principal Broker (Oregon) / Associate Broker (Idaho) at MORE Realty; I represent buyers at every CBH community, and in most cases the builder pays my commission. If you are coming out for an event, call me at (208) 369-7447 before your first model visit so you are registered as a represented buyer, and I will help you work the weekend around tours of the communities on your list.
